This 1 day workshop provides participants with an overview of the audit system and skills required to prepare for an audit.

This session will also provide all personnel attending, an overview of the Codex Standards and Codes of Practice and how they play a part food industry.

The training enables participants to prepare for food safety audits be they internal or external. The training addresses the support programs typically associated with a HACCP system and the documentation that will be sought during an audit.

The competencies covered in this Introductory HACCP training can be credited towards the HACCP Principles training requirements prior to undertaking the Food Safety Auditor training.

There are no prerequisites to attend this training session, however some industry experience would be an advantage.
